Assignments involved spending a fortnight in a high security Queensland correctional facility as well as working overseas in Hong Kong assisting the management team operating a road tunnel system.
This particular role with Serco involved assessing and analysing work practices and methods and instituting new best-practice management plans with new sets of documents produced for different areas of the corporation; including Payroll and Financial Procedures, Workplace Health & Safety, Risk Management, Complaints Handling and Media and Communication Practices.
We also helped positively promote cultural change at both sites relating to environmental wastage, employment codes of behaviour and the use of resources. Both sites in Queensland and Hong Kong passed rigorous audits soon after our consultative work.
